HR-Assist in the standard version provides all the functions of the entry-level version plus a comprehensive package of functions to support efficiently and flexibly the management of applications from candidates.
Applications received online and by post are supported. The recruiter decides for each job the preferred method of receiving applications and selects the corresponding job-advert template. In addition, applications received from recruitment consultants are processed in a similar, but distinct manner.
Unsolicited applications are a special case of postal applications and processed appropriately
A key feature of HR-Assist is the inclusion of job-specific questions in the online application form. This feature has been hugely successful in raising the quality of applications received and providing the recruiters with information that would normally only be obtained at an interview.
Line managers can access the documentation of interesting candidates as selected by the recruiters and enter their feedback online. This function is secure and needs absolutely no training.
As most applications are rejected, the recruiters have predefined texts for 8 different types of rejection. Some of these texts support the entry of additional text before being used for emails or letters. As log as a candidate is still in the application process, a context-specific text is inserted automatically into emails or letters whenever a state change occurs in the processing of an application.
The recruiter does not have to worry about whether an email or a letter should be sent to the candidate; HR-Assist uses a special algorithm to either generate a Word letter or send an email. The algorithm is designed to make the right choice without assistance from the recruiter.
An overview of the status of all applications for a job is available on one page. The use of the application is simplicity itself and the availability of the ASP service is well over 99.9% apart from occasional scheduled maintenance.
HR-Assist is a tool developed to be intuitive and simple on the one hand and to offer flexibility and key functionality on the other hand. Rarely-used functions are avoided, as users often forget how to use them or even forget that they are available.
This emphasis on essentials, an attention to detail and superb usability make HR-Assist the ideal e-Recruiting tool for all but the largest organizations.
